I don’t get it.

Gene Roddenberry originally wanted his Vulcan character to be named Spork, but Sam Francis’ descendants made him change the name.

Huh, I thought Matt Groening was the guy who invented the spatula for applying things like sparkle and tile adhesive.

We’re so fortunate that he had the “aha” moment! The Simpsons have made so many positive contributions to our children and our culture!

Woo-hoo! I’m so thankful that the spork (possibly, maybe, hypothetically) inspired a character on my favorite TV show.
