40 years ago I tried to teach an English girlfriend at college how to bowl. Her first (and only) game, she scored a SEVEN. And that was with 5 pins down on one ball. She had a five, a two, and EIGHTEEN gutter balls. She probably would’ve done better laying the ball in the middle of the lane and pushing it with her foot. . . . . . .
