My Peanut lore alert just turned on; I thought Miss O. was only Linus’ teacher. I have used the trombone with the wife once and only once, lucky to be able to continue to produce children after that.
Some kids asked why a plunger was in my trombone case. I asked if they had seen Peanut animated cartoons. They had. I played the Othmar theme and broke them up. There are always snickers in the audience when I get it ready for a piece. They never connect the sight and the sound.
Don’t they know that the fortune cookie is an american invention. San Francisco, by the Benkyodo Bakery. The Hong Kong Noodle company of L.A. also claimed to invented it in 1918.

If that was his method, I’m glad I didn’t have a teacher like Socrates.
