The rules for dog leashes are very complex. Usually, Poncho is free to wander and mix with his friends at the CafĂ©. He may even disappear for days at a time. But when he has to do his âbusiness,â he needs a human at the other end of the leash. And when he is being punished, he is chained to the tree of shame.
