To answer the question above: I get that warm, fuzzy feeling inside.

So I guess there isn’t   “a new one every day,” as Tony keeps repeating.

As for Elliot’s question…. I’d say self-doubt is just part of the human condition….

In fact, those who never have any can tend to be unbearable.

But Pete’s answer leaves me a bit confused….

Is he saying he’ll let Elliot know when he, that is, Elliot, has done the right thing?

Or when he feels that he’s done the right thing, himself?

Kyle, you seem to think it’s the latter, and you’re probably right….

but still, I wouldn’t think it applies to having Elliot for a son.

Babies choose themselves…. it’s not like Peter had a chance to approve or reject the selection.

I suppose it could apply to his decision to marry and have kids in the first place…

In which case…. I fall on the old "this is a comic strip, and he’s just joking! " excuse.,
