A friend and i took our young children, 3 or 4 years old, to a big-screen matinee of Walt Disney’s “Cinderella.” All was fine until Cinderella and her prince got in the coach and rode off, at which my point my little son burst into tears. I’m a big sentimental cryer, and I guess he got the gene.

The story did not put him to sleep. S. King does not make for a good bed time story.
