Metric is so much easier and more accurate. I really wish the US had switched in the early eighties, like we started to. (Whatever happened to the US + Metric signs on the interstate highway?)

Metric is a hybrid system that depends on the Standard system. If you don’t believe me go try to buy a metric ratchet to use on your sockets.

Roofing shingles are metric. I had to go to the imported tools store to buy coils of metric shingle nails and metric shingle nail gun.
