Bucky is right. He never said there was good news. Rob only inferred that from Bucky’s mention of bad news. But you can argue that had Bucky specified “bad news first or the weather”, then Rob would not have needed to infer anything. Mediation our Specialty.

Bucky is also justified in his final riposte. From his POV, he was trying to be “communal” by checking the noise, then offering Rob a quick debriefing on the news of the day. But all he gets for it is scorn and insults. If you want him to relay the forecast it’ll cost you some good tummy rubs & kitty treats!

Lately, the weather is also bad news.

I wish Darby Conley had REAL BAD NEWS that he will end the Get Fuzzy strip after being daily rerun mode and off and on first run Sunday mode since November 2013. Even though this week’s Sunday Get Fuzzy is a rerun from 2008.

I have a hilariously ridiculous idea: what if Bucky acquired a girlfriend cat? She would have to be either brainless or as horrible as him, because those are the only ways it could happen.
