A little late there, Rodney. The Fink figured that out already.

There was a Paul Revere. He was a silversmith and one of the three people involved in the incident. The other two were William Dawes and Dr. Joseph Warren. Warren planned it and Revere & Dawes were the messengers sent to warn Hancock & Adams. (Let’s hope I rememebered my US History correctly)

RCMinor – Hard to tell if you’re being satirical…dry humor is fun, but ambiguous.

If not, you may have heard that the same “recent scholars” have opined that Leonardo da Vinci wasn’t real either (I mean, come on…one man with genius in so many different directions at once?), but a composite of a guild of obscure Renaissance hacks.

And you don’t want to know about Napoleon….

Paul Revere was a real person, however he and his father by the same name were silversmiths. Paul started the ride, but because he was so drunk and couldn’t stay in the saddle, he was captured after about five miles and I believe it was William Dawes who made the actual ride. Revere got credit only because he was already a well known and popular (at least in the pubs) person.

I have come to the conclusion that the Huns don’t really want Id. Attacking Id is just a risk free form of entertainment where no Huns ever get hurt unless they trip over each other.
