I visited McDonald’s three times, before walking away from them, roughly 40 years ago. I cannot stand mustard, pickles and mayonnaise in my burgers. I would ask for a burger without them. I would wait for more than twenty minutes to a half hour to receive it. They sometimes had it with some of the stuff, I did not want. When, I went to any other eatery than McDonald’s, They always fixed it right, and I did not have to wait very long.
I stopped eating their burgers after Saturday Night Live’s “News” correctly stated an item about the FDA allowing a certain percentage of worm meat in McDonald’s burgers. The kicker was an illustration of a cooked pattie with a worm sticking out the top, an image that became ingrained in my mind’s eye to this day!
