Now that it’s done freaking out Mavis (which makes it all worthwhile), someone needs to catch that little critter and free it — its future is grim otherwise.

Nicely done squirrel artwork in panel 2!

If the box is cardboard (or even wood) that squirrel will gnaw its way out if it doesn’t just pop out.

I don’t think that the language used in panel 8 is really appropriate for a family newspaper comic.

gir63 if you don’t think the language on this strip is appropriate then don’t read SS worse.

I think this strip is so funny. Squirrels will also chew through wire mess. Squirrels have been invading my mom’s-attic. Yes she has an attic. the house was built in either 1945 or 47.

“then don’t read SS worse.” What would that be?

I really do think the squirrels in my back yard are using nasty language at me, especially after I tell them to get off the bird feeder. I usually try to imitate their chirps, huffs, and barks back at them, which usually gets them riled up even more.

I just had to giggle on my imagined reaction of Ms Avis :-D
