When I rented a car for my vacation in France some years back, I asked for a GPS unit to go with it. After the GPS tried to kill me several times by suggesting I drive the wrong way down one-way streets, it got shut off.
I’ve been delivering groceries while the shutdown is on, so I’ve used GPS quite a bit lately. My Kia’s system is hard to program- you go through all these tedious steps. The one in my Nissan takes the address quickly but says the street names as “County Highway 78” instead of the street name. Both have weird ways to route you when if you happen to know the way.
