^ And under Cheney/Bush, prisoners without habeas corpus, were tortured by being made to stand still for hours and if they moved a battery would shock them in sensitive areas.
I understand the silencing of free press. But is that supposed to be Castro in the background holing up the 9?
And is that supposed to be an auction panel or a judges point rating? That’s the only part I don’t get is related to the background figure.
Now, if Rockngolfer’s concept is accurate, how does the background figure fit in? Voltage meter level maybe? I don’t know how those things would fit in, especially since the string is linked to the finger/hands… not the “sensitive areas.” I guess it’s possible but seems less likely than the puppet principle which is essentially a given.
The hooded figure is the photograph of torture in Abu Ghraib. An example of where allowing torture has knocked us from our place – we were once looked up to for our moral standing.
The house recently blocking any Gitmo detainees from being brought to trial in the US is another big blow. We used to stand for civilized behavior. Now it’s just bullying.

Doesn’t depicting Chavez and Castro following the Bush/Cheney format seem even a “little” odd???

Some people there certainly allowed it. That they were prosecuted is good, but it doesn’t automatically make the whole thing disappear.
