So sad that she can name all that so quickly but won’t bother to put it together. And probably at a better value. Fast food has outpaced the price index by nearly double in the last ten years, and unless you stick to the ever-shrinking value menus, you can expect to spend $8-15 per person. My wife and I tried meal-in-a-box services for about a year and they were great. We got fun and unique dishes three times a week, with just 30-45 minutes of prep time, for a reasonable $20 each night. Better yet, this rebooted our ability to plan and shop ahead for the rest of the week’s meals. Eventually we weaned ourselves off the service but maintained the habit. Often we’ll pull out an old recipe card or look up something new online. Our versions are a little simpler and quicker, and they typically keep out total meal cost in the dingle digit range.

Hard decision – $75 and an hour and a half, or $5 and five minutes. If you have the time and money, go for it.
