“[In] Ha Ha Herman … one person runs off and hides. Then the people who are looking yell ‘Haha’ and the person hiding has to say ‘Herman.’ Then everyone goes to find them. If you find them you hide with them, and eventually only one person is left looking.”

Apparently it is something Charles Shulz’s family made up.

Sounds like a twist on the old “Hide and Seek” game

I’m guessing it has nothing to do with The Munsters.

I’ve always loved this storyline, so I’m glad that it’s being featured at this point.

And you’re going to fall in love with him, Marcy. You’re even going to tell Patty that you’d marry him if he proposed.

We played “Flashlight Tag” and “Release”, outside after dark, on summer nights in my neighborhood.

Key moment here——the return of “the weird little kid from camp”, who could easily have been a quirky one-off character. I wonder what first inspired Schulz to bring her back. He must have liked the little dynamic he’d hit upon between these two, even though it would change dramatically in short order—-Marcie was originally portrayed as something of a space cadet, as opposed to the straight-arrow voice of reason she became.

From dorky to weird. Is that considered progress? Asking for a dorky/weird friend.
