Hopefully, Ellie isn’t reading anything into Hubbs’ diamond comment, as I don’t think Hubbs is there yet—if he ever gets there.

I hope this doesn’t come off as inappropriate but I love the framing of the first panel because the “Hand Diamond” framing Ellie (If flipped upside down) would be the American Sign Language sign for… Ehem “Girl parts”… and having them frame Ellie who Hubbs thinks is a guy ends up looking accidentally clever to me
