There was a inexpensive hotel in a bad neighborhood close to the casinos. A guest called the desk and complained that the room stank. Housekeeping sprayed deodorant and disinfectants, but it got worse. Police were called the next day when the found a dead body under the mattress in the second bed.
Except the police usually don’t clean up crime scenes. That’s for whoever owns/lives at the location in question, unless it’s a public location and then they call in specialist cleaners to do the dirty work.
