Do you score 3 points if you hit a home run between the goal posts and over the fence?
It won’t matter much in a couple of years after the Raiders move to Las Vegas and the A’s most likely will move to San Jose.
To me, sharing the stadium, and it’s effect, was what gave those few stadiums (Oakland, Miami, etc.) their charm and, really, “homefield advantage.”
but it might be a way to cut down on the strike outs and add little skill to batting. put a few basketball nets in the outfield but not at the fence and a shot through them doubles the runs
It’ll all be over soon…Viva Las Vegas!!!
When Charlie Finley owned the A’s, the Raiders played road games during baseball season.
You know, a real negotiator.
Last dual use field in both sports. Over 50 years old so it’s also the oldest next to Fenway and Lambeau and Dodger Stadium.
