So, I was trying to figure out, since you took out all the color and just use this “shading” technique, do you just use random lines? Then I figured that the shading is from a light source, as you can see that the lines become slightly distorted from body movement, such as in panel 2, where Magicia puts her hand to her head and the yellow line fills in-between her fingers. And it must come from above them and between them because the white appears on the tops of their arms and not below as in panels 1 and 3. Then I realized that in panel 2 this ceases to be consistent as the white is on the bottom of Magicia’s arm, leading me to conclude its just random lines. As you only put out one or two comics a week, why not take the effort to put back in full color? I remember when you did that, and it was pretty nice. Or even go back to where it looked like the comics were drawn on lined-paper, cuz, its a little kid’s drawings.
Anyway, as long as i’m saying stuff, I also liked it when you had the multiple day story lines of the kids with powers fighting aliens. You could do one where they fight sentient vegetables, or pets who get too haughty because their owners treat them like real members of the family. Think about it. You’ve got a real good cast of characters we never see. (not the girl who uses “literally” wrong. She was literally the most annoying character!) Maybe some origin stories of how some of the kids got their powers, or one kid who keeps changing his origin story, cuz that’s what Marvel keeps doing (not changing the origin, but redoing origin story lines movies……Spiderman? What’s he up to now, 3?
