I bought a battery powered mower for the first time this year. What a pleasure. I’ll never go back to gas.

I’d get a battery powered push mower, and even a battery powered riding mower I saw at the big box orange-themed home center, if I didn’t have a LOT of grass to cut… at least it’s fall here in the north and grass cutting is over for the year…

When I was little, a neighbor had an electric mower. It didn’t have wheels, but hovered like a hovercraft.

Only environmentally friendly if you don’t worry about the coal miner.. or the guy being exposed to radiation.. or.. heck everyone involved with getting electricity to your house.

Mine is solar powered, but I cannot mow on cloudy days.

I have an electric mower which I use to clean my artificial turf. Just like a vacuum cleaner. Works great, just have to be sure that the mower blade is set to its highest.

I have a gardener. : )

Drawbacks no matter what is done.
