The Church has made progress, they no longer sell indulgences, kill people in the name of Christ in Crusades and have done away with the Inquisition. That’s a lot for 2,000 years There are glaciers that move faster than that.

They totally lost control when they slacked on Latin being the holy language and the populace became literate.

Some progress in Maryland: The Catholic Archdiocese of Baltimore will issue identity cards to undocumented immigrants.

Neither the Government nor the Church wants an educated constituency.
