You have to give it to the republicans and trump.. they can spin just about anything to their favor. Cheating also works.. I will not be surprised to see the Republicans win.. disappointed.. you bet!.. but on both sides of the fence folk continue to vote against their best interest.
Yeah, it was totally unfair for the Democrats to keep bringing up Merrick Garland. How low can you go? (Actually, the most unnerving aspect of this whole thing is the possibility that Kavanaugh’s fawning professions of admiration for Trump are genuine.)
By not making sure that our politicians are men and women of truth, honor and distinctive excellence, we have a batch of wannabees that will do as wealthy sponsors wish. There is no single person who could win the approval (and votes) of the public regardless of which party they are affiliated with as there used to be before deep partisanship took root. Having a Congress packed with mediocre politicians and an apathetic electorate, we do indeed get the government we deserve.
Democrats gave Republicans every chance to do the right thing and choose someone qualified, with no insane amount of baggage to destroy their Party. Republicans decided to instead make Kavanaugh their November 6th swan-song.
I’ve always found it amusing how people will say “The other side destroyed civility when they ______(Insert hot button issue here)”. No, all of you destroyed civility and then went into denial. First stage of grief, though you don’t seem to regret the chaos you’ve endowed upon our society.

If Campbell wanted to better reflect reality, Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court “takes a bite” out of all Americans.

As he stated in his hearings, the democrats are his problem. That is where he will take his bite with his rulings.

Awww….come on kids. Is it that tough to admit the scorched earth strategy put your party in a bad light?
Hasn’t anyone ever told you that sometimes the ends does NOT justify the means?
Even worse is when you come out of the closet and expose yourself as vicious monsters, then FAIL to achieve the goal.
