Worked in one for health insurance. Started with 30 other people. I was one of three left after the first year. I quit not long after that. Hell is the only way to describe it.

Any call center is hell on earth. I will never do that kind of work again.

Ring wraiths need better lawyers to write up their contracts. So easy to get around the “No man may..” clause with people like Rita and Eowyn around.

My issue with most call centers is that they seem to get paid by words per minute. Toss in an accent, any accent, and I’m lost. I had to tell one lady on a corporate help line to slow down, I couldn’t hear that fast. In a slow Texas drawl, of course.
