    It’s gotten about that bad in some states. A candidate in North Carolina organized one of these “gerrymander runs” where folks run along an especially convoluted portion of the district boundary to tangibly demonstrate the indiscriminate way it broke up neighborhoods.

    We lived for a time many years ago where the border between tow districts was the street where we lived. Politics is strange.

    It gets worse. Since your kids are in distirct 62, that puts them out of the U.S. entirely, so they will be rounded up and sent back to a random country: Iraq!
