In case you aren’t familiar with it…
The strip has started echoing the wonderful children’s book,
“Where the Wild Things Are” by Maurice Sendak.
This creature is one of the Wild Things…. that he’s also Ethan is only my surmise.
“That very night in Max’s room a forest grew
and grew and grew until his ceiling hung with vines,
and the walls became the world all around…
And an ocean tumbled by with a private boat for Max,
and he sailed off through night and day and in and out of weeks
and almost over a year
to where the wild things are."
Only this time it was Jane’s room….
First she was with the Last Starfighter and now Where the Wild Things Are.
I really enjoy the dog in this strip, he can be the funniest character without saying a word…
