The idea that eating turkey makes you drowsy is a myth. It’s the fact that turkey is most often part of a large feast, and eating large meal’s in general makes you drowsy.
Not a dog alive that can stop after one bite of most any food.. let alone turkey.. or.. was Lola’s turkey so bad the dog went into a coma after one bite.

Carbohydrates, which are usually a large part of large feasts, such as at Thanksgiving, probably play a bigger role than turkey.
