If they are old Sophie is lucky, if not she is in a bad way.
Distance makes the heart grow fonder. Or, lessens the chance of anyone catching you in the heat of the moment. Either way, when someone asks why you’re so distant, embrace the moment.
I live in an apartment building and some “tenants” do not pick up after their pooch, at least once a month I get to “wash off my shoe”
Good thing puppies in the real world grow up. Now if only they didn’t grow old.
