I remember when they sold these types of bowl covers. Well before snap on lids.

…and nose snoods can be repurposed for another item also…

My mom had a clear cover like that, that was on a lampshade. She would put it on on pull it down over her eyes and called it “my onion chopping hat.” She was hilarious. Miss her. :(
