The characters in this comic strip sometimes come off as two dimensional.
“!” is Pong speak for “You can NOT be serious!”
I can hear it now. After I played one game on the first home pong/soccer/handball gizmo, I taped a few thicknesses of tissue over the speaker to take the edge off that sound.
Believe it or not, Pong was once considered a state of the art game.
This must be the Pong: The Comic Strip Cliff Notes Version. Clearly the angles of impact from Panel 2 to Panel 3 require several intervening volleys.
