I many parts of the world a dog in the house is pretty rare. They are given dog houses at best(remember Snoopy?) and expected to tend to themselves in the winter. Mostly, people who have dogs in houses accept the responsibility of taking them out in all sorts of weather.

We go “rompy stompies” in the park every night rain or shine – and its even better when there is a storm.
