I think I may have studied a similar Detroit Redwing head dress in Ottawa’s site 23, the natural history museum, during their Viking display time about 6 years ago. Eye Y is not Me WHY.
Many years ago at a Native American tourist attraction there was an old chief in a huge head dress that would raise his hand to every man and say, “How”.When a young woman walked by him he would raise his hand and say, “Chance”.Finally someone ask him why he said “How” to men and “Chance” to women. He responded, “Me know how, want chance.”
