A friend of mine took a music conducting class, and his instructor told him he was “too expressive”. I guess she was afraid of him smacking hapless beagles by mistake….

Today’s strip took me back to my own childhood when I conducted, alas without a baton, classical music that was playing on our radio or our old console record player. My relatives enjoyed this from a safe distance, and there was no puppy to accidentally smack.
