There is one star, Sherman, that’s much brighter than two headlights: the sun.

The stars at night are big and bright deep in the heart of Texas.

Don’t let the stars get in your eyes don’t let the moon take your heart.

I can’t drive at night anymore because I think the new LED lights on cars outshine the sun.

Everyone knows the night sky is just made by the government pulling a giant sheet of dark paper over the sun every night! And pinpricks through the paper cause the stars; therefore CB is correct!

Brightness is relative to distance so it’s redundant until you have that parameter, even among the stars, hence the need for a measure called Absolute brightness, which means how bright would this star look at a distance of 10 parsecs (about 32 LY) then you can make comparisons, the sun would be about magnitude 5, you would need to be at a pretty dark place to see it.

A star. That’s why we (usually) don’t need headlights during the day.

Wrong, it was a trick question! From here the planet Venus is brighter than anything up in the sky!
