Annnd THAT’S about as far as Violet’s character ever developed (same with Patty). No wonder Schulz introduced Peppermint Patty, Marcie and Woodstock because he was bored.

I agree: no wonder Charles Schulz retired this unpleasant character… (I think Charlotte Braun was also “retired”, a la “Bladerunner” style, off-panel someplace, if the story is true).

Hot chocolate is not hard to make. He can just make his own party, even if he’s alone.
