Too bad they don’t have a volume control, Schroeder could turn it up to really annoy her.

If she could actually play the fiddle he might invite her to stay.

Get home quickly, the clock’s ticking. Tick, tick, tick, tick…

That is the measure of her frustration.

Okay, that brought back an old memory—practicing violin with a metronome going tick-tick.
