Ohmigosh, how my guys loved their stuffed animals. When they went out the doggie door to go potty they always took one of them with them. But for some reason they laid it down, did their business and came back empty mouthed.
But if I called out to them, “Where’s your toy-toy?” they would run back down the hill and rescue the toy.
This was kind of funny to see because they were very large dogs.

My landlord’s dog, Buddy, (RIP) would go around to neighborhood yard sales until he found just the right toy, and steal it.
