If this were only true. With the possible exception of the incumbent president, most politicians do NOT have diminished mental capacities. They are intelligent, cold and calculating.They could very well have high IQs, what they lack is MQ (moral quotient).and lately, they seem to be slipping in EQ (Emotional Quotient) and the other MQ (Maturity Quotient).

Their interests, in order, are: How do I get re-elected? What do I have to do and vote for to keep my major donors happy? What is the “Party Line” and how do I stay in good favor with the Party bosses? How can I get revenge on members of the opposite party? How can I continue to lie to my constituents without them catching on so that they will still vote for me?

This description applies to politicians throughout the ages including both sides of “no man’s land” in America today. (“Battle lines are being drawn. Nobody’s right if everybody’s wrong.”)

In the words of that immortal sage from the A_Team, BA, “I pity the fools.” Their entire universe exists within their own skin and they live in constant fear of losing power.

They are environmentally friendly, they come self fertilized.

I know of a few that REALLY need to be planted…about 6 feet deep…

They lock you up for that.

I’d plant AOC with lost of manure. She would probably be a weed and take over 90% of the garden. Maybe not a good idea.
