I had to work a trade show in Las Vegas once. Never having gambled and not being seduced by all the flesh and glitter on display, I felt like I needed Virgil at my side to navigate it all. After 15 minutes of sheer incredulity I locked myself in my hotel room and spent the night reading, my favorite sport. Needless to say, I was the only one at our booth until the stragglers dragged in around noon. Food was excellent, though, and quite cheap, even though I was on an expense account and it didn’t matter.
Lived there and couldn’t wait to get out…did finally and moved to CA..you never want to get sick there and have to to a hospital. The mayor would come where I worked and he told the owner’s dad when he asked about doctor’s he goes to CA as you don’t want to go to a doctor or hospital there.

And then the water got slurped, the economy burped, and the city was left in the lurch.

Loved Las Vegas, then again I’m not a gambler so I didn’t lose my shirt. They have a lot of other attractions.

I grew up in Las Vegas and never got into the whole gambling thing. Once my parents retired and moved away, I had no reason to go back.

Must be a daily complaint for Andy, since I can’t believe Jason doesn’t complete his homework early every night.

You’re young enough to buy land on the outskirts of Vegas and wait until the hotels/casinos expand and are willing to pay big bucks for it.

If he wants in, he’s going to need to “obtain” 10 million dollars.

When the water runs out it will become a well known ghost town.
