Actually from 1732 to 1752 (when England adopted the Gregorian calendar); Washington’s birthday was on February 11th…but as the cartoonist said it complicates the joke…
it’s scary when comic strip jokes need a note explaining that the joke is well, just a joke. And gives the accurate information as well. Has Broomie been accused of spreading fake news?
