How about the eternal twilight of divisive tribalism?

Some choose war; some choose peace. Monuments may be built, but we all die anyway, and the monuments go the way of Ozymandias’ empire.eventually. How nice if we could all accept that everyone is equal and should be given equal opportunity to succeed. Our short lives would be so much more pleasant and productive.Too bad we often elect leaders who seem to want the opposite. Maybe they don’t realize it, but they’re the walking dead as well. Better to play nice. Dr. King did his best on a political and humanistic level. But he’s more or less dust now. It would be nice if we could all live by the words that inspire us to positive action. Be nice if we could all wake up!

If humans died or disappeared tomorrow probably the dams will last the longest.
