Come on, with the years of marriage, she should know that love is more than a Valentine’s card.

Reminded me of the Valentines Day cards we gave each other one year. Yep, we exchanged the exact same cards.

Like that of a certain football player.

My wife and I do this now. $7 per card or do you want to go out to eat?

There is one guy who wants to sleep on the couch.

so much of a cheapskate that Valentine’s Day dinner will probably be at the local burger place…

No country can survive economically without commercialism. Go out and buy something. Keep Wal-Mart from going bankrupt.

Just like a smaller version of “many-month-long” christmas? I wonder when these commercialized holidays will start to overlap?

Why did the card she gave look like a ‘To-Do’ list?

I get nice cards at the Dollar Store.

Somewhere around our 25th anniversary of our 1st date [yep, it was Valentine’s Day and not really a date, we sat together at a midweek prayer service] my Beloved and I decided that V-Day cards were no longer necessary, so for the past 22 years we’ve given each other those same cards, back and forth.

Cheapskate? He lets that miserable sow spend a fortune on Christmas. He’s still paying those bills! Get a job, mooch!
