Rheum (/ˈruːm /; from Greek: ῥεῦμα, rheuma , a flowing, rheum) is thin mucus naturally discharged as a watery substance from the eyes, nose or mouth during sleep (cf. mucopurulent discharge). Rheum dries and gathers as a crust in the corners of the eyes or mouth, on the eyelids, or under the nose. Also called “goobers” and “boogers”.
My dog came as a stray who wandered into my life. At first, I tried to chase her away, but then decided she was my dog. She went with me on the paper route every day. Children called me “Paper Tom” and the dog, “Paper Dog.”
Thanks, never head of those before. Like us, I think it can also be called ‘sleep’ in our eyes.Every morning I wipe the ‘sleep’ off one of my big dog’s eyes. I guess they can’t feel it when it’s there.
