…this speech is just Dad’s way of dealing with his own guilty feelings of hitting his son in the face with a football; unfortunately, dad should be dealing with his guilty feelings by NOT making ridiculous excuses – it should have been a straight up (man up) “I’m sorry, I did not mean to hurt you”, with no “but” attached…and I’m betting we’ll see how much of a man he is when Miss Lisa is done with him…
