    OK, I’m not much of a fan of Zen Pencils, but the “mortifying negative” in Panel 8 is pretty great.

    Just make sure you read the original story. The Hollywood hatchet job are particularly far from the book.

    One of my writer friends dreamed all her novels down to the last detail. All she did was transcribe it. Her career was very successful so that worked for her. Most of my dream inspiration has been just an extremely vivid scene. I wake up, think about the images, ask myself why did this happen, and what happens next. Other inspirations have been when I’m awake. Inspiration is everywhere.
