I’m new to this strip. Just saw it on the home page and thought it was Cul de Sac. And today seems to be a nod Calvin & Hobbes. I think I’ll give it a try.
Any civilization will have science fiction.It will help prepare those who will actually build the spaceships to to leave their planet. And to work what primitive people would call “miracles” they call science.
