So…Anubis, the GOD of afterlife is actually Anubis, the DOG 0f afterlife?

There is an old saying. “Dogs are not our whole lives….. but dogs make our lives whole.” NOW it’s starting to makes sense on multiple levels.

I saw this scene in Stargate. That ain’t no Dog-god.

Well, I’ll be dog gone.

“Stomping a hind leg” — how many legs does he have??

Well now, who called it? That’s right, I did! ☺

Don’t forget the just before the tail. If he asks for belly rub, you got it made.

And if he lifts his hind leg you KNOW you have his attention…

Make no mistake, Anubis is a Jackal-headed deity. Jackals are canids, but not dogs. Wait till you meet the creature that eats those who fail the judgment. Called her “The Devourer”. Head of a Nile crocodile, first part of a hunting cat whether leopard or lion, and the hind end of a hippopotamus. Ammut Nupi eats then excretes you where you exist as a turd for eternity for your sins.

Anubis was no Nice Doggie. He was the stern, ruthless, remorseless jackal-headed god of the afterlife. Accept no substitutes!

sigh. Out there, somewhere, is somebody who’s gonna be offended by this. For culture-stealing, disrespect, whatever ya got. sigh.
