Why not? We still have linoleum in our kitchen - a bit dinged here and there, but no holes all the way through. Probably there when the house was built in the late 1930s. Fairly rugged stuff.

We put placemats under our cats & dog’s bowls too. Does cut down on the spills etc.

Ha. We still have linoleum in our house. It’s hideous, but it is 30 years old and still in good shape. We just try not to look at it too closely.
