A quick search on the internet brings up a number of sites that state frogs don’t jump very high, just long. Jumping 10 times as high as their length is unusual.
I wonder if they eat those frogs down there. Could there be a connection between that and southern athletes with great high jumping capabilities? I made that up. But still. Yuck yuck.. on to Mutt and Jeff…..
Typewritten underlining was invented because typewriters could not make italics. Old typing manuals from the 1930’s still called underlining “italicization”. When I started working in printing, typesetting, and page layout in the 1980’s, (all electronic), I learned that underlines were a proofer’s mark for italics and should be replaced as such. Underlining should very rarely be used for type. Take note PowerPoint makers!
