She’s just keeping it warm.

No…. no you’re not.

Butt-toasty warm is the best kind of warm.

‘Be right back’ is not a place holder unless it is enforceable. Which in this case, it is. Don’t get comfortable puppy.

Our St Bernard doesn’t get up on the couch, she’s getting a bit too old to climb up and down and likes her blanket on the floor

The four cats vie for position on the couch, however, and a freshly vacated warm spot is a prime location

first thing in the morning our mini Chihuahua (RIP) would wait to be picked up, sit beside me and wait till I had her blanket over my legs, then curl up and go back to sleep

My wife’s little dog always jumps into my chair when I get up!

That never lasts be it cat or dog. Humans rule.

Usually all you need to do is come back to the chair and start slowly lowering your posterior toward the cushion and your pet/fur baby/companion animal/ critter will move.

He forgot to call “save”. My cats will take my cushion if I don’t. Though they relinquish it to sit in my lap.

Mine won’t move until I say the phrase “Big butt comin’ thru!”
