Knowing that “slackadazical” behavior is not an option.

Chores. Either I tackle and finish my latest creative project, or I have to vacuum the apartment. Creativity always wins.

Thinking that having two jobs will get me more money and I can retire earlier and won’t have to worry about getting a job as a greeter at some store when I’m 70.

My motivation goes like this: I’m a dragon, and I’m in this age, the most powerful mortal on Earth, humans give up, but I’m not human, so keep going; also, nothing and nobody in this universe is invincible, unless God’s hand be with it, and his hand is with me.

In that case I first accomplish a list of what needs to get finished and then a nap or a good night’s sleep depending on the time of day and waking up refreshed and ready to go.

Caffeine

Guilt.

I’m retired so ALL of my time might considered wasted :> However I do like to get things done so I set some goals: read 100 pages a day, get the furniture dusted in an hour, be home from the store in an hour, 1/2 hour for FB; exciting stuff like that.

The fact that if I don’t do it, it won’t get done. Since it needs to be done, I have to do it (whatever it may be around the house).
